A Radiation Oncologist’s Insights on Battling Bladder Cancer
Radiation Oncologist, Dr. Sukhjeet Batth honors Bladder Cancer Awareness Month by sharing a radiation oncologist’s insight into the disease.
Dr. Sukhjeet Batth is board certified in radiation oncology. He completed his residency training as chief resident in radiation oncology at the University of Southern California and Los Angeles County Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from the University of California, Davis, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He received his Master of Science in bioengineering and Bachelor of Science in biological sciences with University Honors and Distinction at Stanford University.
His research in head and neck, central nervous system and prostate cancers has been published in major scientific journals and presented at international conferences. He serves as an American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) state captain and on the Government Relations Subcommittee to promote the practice of radiation oncology.
