About Dr. Scott Simon
Dr. Simon is a board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Urology and fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Simon practices all aspects of urology. He has a particular interest in minimally invasive kidney surgery, as well as performing minimally invasive procedures for voiding issues, such as Prostiva therapy to treat prostate enlargement and InterStim to reduce urinary frequency.
Dr. Simon attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign where he graduated with honors with his Bachelor of Science in psychology. He then went on to attend Rush Medical School in Chicago where he graduated in the top 10 percent of his medical school class and was elected to the distinguished Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.
After finishing medical school, Dr. Simon completed his internship in general surgery and residency in urology at Loyola Medical Center in Chicago. He then completed his education doing a fellowship in laparoscopy at the Mayo Clinic.
