Dr. Lemon’s patient beat TNBC & wrote about it in the Merced Sun-Star

In July of 2014, Stephanie Jackson was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer (TNBC). This particular cancer type is only seen in 10 to 20 percent of breast cancer diagnoses, and it is often very aggressive. Stephanie received treatment from cCARE’s Dr. Robert Lemon, and she published her story because she hopes to educate women about the importance of self-exams and mammograms.

“I tell people that God blessed me to be able to find my lump at stage 1 and my amazing oncologist Dr. Robert Lemon,” wrote Stephanie. “I believe [he] saved my life by postponing surgery and going straight to chemo.”
