Patricia Buckley, MS, AGNP- BC

Patricia is an adult nurse practitioner serving the Encinitas and San Marcos cCARE locations. She strives to provide patient-centered care with thorough physical exams, symptom management, diagnosis and care plans. She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing at Villanova University and her Master of Science in nursing at San Diego State University. Patricia worked in critical care for over ten years before joining cCARE in 2021.

Outside of work, Patricia enjoys taking advantage of San Diego’s climate by spending time boating, biking and taking her dog to the beach.

                                                          Jayme Chung, ACNP-BC, MSN

Jayme Chung, NP | cCARE | San Diego, CAJayme earned her Bachelor of Science in biology at Post University, a Master of Science in cellular biology from Boston College, and a Master of Science in nursing from Vanderbilt University. Prior to joining the cCARE team, she worked at Tennessee Oncology and Vanderbilt Ingram Cancer Center. As a certified acute care nurse practitioner (ACNP-BC), Jayme specializes in medical oncology, and her research interests are focused on gastrointestinal malignancies and palliative care.

She chose a career in oncology because it offers a unique opportunity to support patients and families through a difficult diagnosis. Jayme is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and served as faculty of the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing in conjunction with the Vanderbilt-Ingram Cancer Center for five years. Jayme grew up on the East Coast and in her spare time she enjoys hiking and rock climbing with her husband.

Jennifer Coyle

Jennifer Coyle, MSN, FNP-C

Jennifer graduated from Azusa Pacific University in 2002. She worked at Huntington Hospital in Pasadena on a medical/oncology floor for five years and then moved to Menifee. Since then, she has worked at Inland Valley Medical Center, Palomar Medical Center and Loma Linda Cancer Center. Jennifer has worked in oncology nearly all of her 15 years as a registered nurse. She became a family nurse practitioner (FNP) in 2017. Jennifer has a passion for the field of oncology and has been looking forward to an opportunity like her current role at cCARE for many years. Jennifer has three children, enjoys running races and triathlons, and also loves baking.

Claire S. Moga, DNP, FNP-BC

Claire is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who joined the cCARE team in October of 2017. Prior to that, Claire spent several years working in oncology intensive care at the University of Washington Medical Center in Seattle. She also has extensive experience working in stem cell/bone marrow transplant at UC San Diego Medical Center. Claire received her Master of Science in nursing and her Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of San Diego. She graduated magna cum laude and as a member of the Sigma Theta Tau nursing honors society. She enjoys spending time with her family and two dogs, cooking and baking.

Wairimu Mwaura joins the cCARE team as a nurse practitioner.

Marti Willey | cCARE

Marti Willey, MSN, ANP-BC, AOCNP

Marti is an adult nurse practitioner at the Encinitas and 4S Ranch office where she provides physical assessment, differential diagnosis and care plans for oncology and hematology patients. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in nursing at San Diego State University. Before joining cCARE, Marti worked at Scripps Memorial Hospital as a nurse mentor for the intensive care unit.

Berhane Mebratu, MSN, NP, RN

Berhane earned her bachelor’s degree and Master of Science in Nursing from California State University.

Berhane is a dedicated family nurse practitioner with more than 10 years of nursing and healthcare experience. She is passionate about patient education and treating acute and chronic urological issues.

Lauren Ruskell, NP | cCARE | Fresno, CA

Lauren Ruskell, MSN, FNP-C, RNFA

Lauren earned her bachelor’s degree and Master of Science in Nursing from California State University. She has over 23 years of nursing experience, including 19 years in an acute care setting.

Prior to joining the cCARE team in 2019, Lauren worked for Central California Gynecological Oncology, Central Valley Women’s Health, and Advanced Procreative Gynecologic & Reproductive Specialists. Lauren is a surgical first assist with five years of experience with open, robotic and laparoscopic procedures. She concurrently works at St. Agnes Medical Center as a nuclear medicine nurse practitioner. Lauren served as a volunteer medical officer for the Fresno Boy Scout Camp in 2019.

Iriana Sadaghiani, MSN, NP, RN

Iriana earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from California State University. Prior to joining the cCARE team, she worked at University Gynecological Oncology and Community Medical Providers Urgent Care. In her previous positions, she specialized in gynecological oncology and high-risk mother and infant care. Iriana is focused on patient treatment but her main priority is ensuring her patients feel cared for and supported.

Marissa Tadi, NP | cCARE

Marissa Tadi, MSN, A-GNP-C

Marissa joined cCARE in May 2017. Prior to joining, she spent seven years working inpatient as a medical/oncology nurse for Christian Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She is currently certified by the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) in chemotherapy and biotherapy. She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2010. She earned her Master of Science in nursing from Maryville University in 2016.

Michael Lemus, PA

Michael graduated in 2000 from Cal Poly Pomona with a degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. He worked as a researcher at City of Hope Beckman Research Institute until 2006 when he continued his education at Western University of Health Sciences, graduating with a master’s degree as a physician assistant in 2008. Has been certified as a physician assistant since graduating and has worked in neurosurgery as well as family practice in a rural clinic.
