Jamila Faiq, RN, MSN, FNP-BC

Jamila is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who joined the cCARE team in November of 2016. Prior to that, Jamila spent six years in the Bone Marrow and Solid Organ Transplant Unit at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla, California. At Scripps Green she gained valuable experience administering chemotherapy, conducting stem cell transplants and giving her patients compassionate treatment and follow-up care. Jamila received her Master's of Science in nursing from California State University San Marcos, where she graduated magna cum laude.

Michelle Marosok, MSN, FNP-BC

Michelle, a Colorado native, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner serving the San Marcos office. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and her Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Southern California. Her background includes a total of six years of experience in inpatient oncology and outpatient hematology and oncology. She is passionate about caring for patients with cancer. In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her three dogs at the beach.

Patricia Mooney, MS, AGNP- BC

Patricia is an adult nurse practitioner serving the Encinitas and San Marcos cCARE locations. She strives to provide patient-centered care with thorough physical exams, symptom management, diagnosis and care plans. She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing at Villanova University and her Master of Science in nursing at San Diego State University. Patricia worked in critical care for over ten years before joining cCARE in 2021. Outside of work, Patricia enjoys taking advantage of San Diego’s climate by spending time boating, biking and taking her dog to the beach.

Wairimu Mwaura, NP-BC

Wairimu Mwaura joins the cCARE team as a nurse practitioner.

Marti Willey, MSN, ANP-BC, AOCNP

Marti is an adult nurse practitioner at the Encinitas and 4S Ranch office where she provides physical assessment, differential diagnosis and care plans for oncology and hematology patients. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in nursing at San Diego State University. Before joining cCARE, Marti worked at Scripps Memorial Hospital as a nurse mentor for the intensive care unit.

Susan Juliusson, NP-BC

Susan is a central Illinois native who has been a registered nurse for 27 years. She received her Master’s in Science of Nursing from University of Illinois-Chicago and is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner. Her 4 year experience as a nurse practitioner in the intensive care setting greatly influenced her ability to care for cancer patients in the hospital and clinic setting for the last 9 years. A cross country move to live near family brought her to the Fresno area and cCare. She enjoys baking, playing pickle ball, crafting and spending time with friends and family. By dealing with her own life events and caring for cancer patients she has learned that compassion and living life are two of the best ways to get through this journey together.

Olivia Kahn, MSN, RN, FNP-BC

Olivia is a dedicated board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner, having earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2018. With a wealth of experience as a nursing clinical leader, Olivia excels as a coordinator of multidisciplinary, evidence-based, and patient-centered care. Her background includes roles as an RN in the Medical-Surgical and Intermediate Critical Care Unit, as well as serving as a Nurse Practitioner at Baz Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center. Most recently, Olivia has led the Mobile Health Center for the Fresno County Superintendent of Schools, providing pediatric care to underserved communities and schools in Fresno County. Fluent in both Spanish and English, Olivia is deeply passionate about serving the Central Valley, advocating for health equity, and pursuing clinical excellence.

Navneet Kaur, FNP-C

Navneet recently completed her Masters of Science in Nursing and training as Family Nurse Practitioner from United States University, San Diego. She is board Certified with both ANCC and AANP. She has eight years of experience as a registered nurse in Trauma and Telemetry units. She also worked as a Registered Nurse and Clinical Instructor in India prior to coming to United States. She wants to utilize her past experience to provide best possible care for her patients. She feels that each person is an individual with distinct opinions and values. No matter where they are in life’s journey, she aims to treat everyone equally. She believes mutual respect, trust and great communication are key ingredients, in order to provide quality care. In her spare time, Navneet loves spending time with her family. She enjoys traveling, watching movies and cooking.

Rajinder Kaur, MSN, FNP- BC

In July of 2022, Rajinder graduated from United States University with a master's degree in family nurse practitioner. She holds dual credentials from the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. After obtaining her RN license in 2006, Rajinder worked as an RN in an acute care setting in Washington State; she spent more than ten years at Saint Agnes Medical Center before joining c Care as a family nurse practitioner. The cancer diagnosis of a loved one inspired Rajinder to devote herself to the field of oncology. She thinks it's important to see each patient as an individual with hopes and dreams, not just a collection of symptoms that need to be controlled. Because of the special opportunity it provides to help people cope with a cancer diagnosis, she decided to pursue a career in oncology.

Rimandeep Kaur, MSN FNP-BC

Rimandeep earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree from United States University, San Diego in 2022. She holds an AANP board certification. She has over ten years of experience as a registered nurse in various settings, including Skilled Nursing, Trauma, and Telemetry departments. She also worked as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for nearly six months, directly dealing with children with the goal of promoting their healthiest development. Rimandeep was encouraged to pursue a career in oncology after her loved one was diagnosed with cancer. She comes with a strong desire to use her previous experience; she is committed to providing the best possible treatment to her patients. Recognizing each individual's uniqueness, she values their diverse perspectives and values.

Vivian Klann, FNP-BC

Vivian is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who joined the cCARE team in October of 2023. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychobiology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2005 and her Master of Science in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University in 2010. For the last 13 years, Vivian has provided holistic, oncology care to various hospitals and clinics, including City of Hope Medical Center, Providence Holy Cross Infusion Center, and UCLA Hematology Oncology Clinic. In her free time, Vivian enjoys spending time with her husband, being active in her church, and traveling in the U.S. and abroad.

Julie MacMullen, MSN, FNP-BC

Julie was a medic in the U.S. Army for 4 years with a 12-month deployment to Afghanistan where she gained experience in emergency medicine, earned a combat medic badge, and a purple heart. She earned her bachelor’s degree and Master of Science in Nursing from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Science. She gained a passion in caring for patients with oncologic and hematologic conditions when her husband was diagnosed with cancer in 2012. She prides herself on building relationships with her patients and ensuring their needs are met. She gained experience from Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in hematology and oncology.

Berhane Mebratu, MSN, FNP-C

Berhane Mebratu is one of our family nurse practitioners. Berhane has a strong educational background in nursing when she received Bachelor of Science as a Registered Nurse at California State University, Fresno in December 2010. She has good working experience as a register nurse at St. Agnes Hospital. Then she later went on to receive her Master of Nursing (MSN) at California State University, Fresno with an emphasis of Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) in May 2017. For two years she worked at Urology Associates of California, Fresno CA where she got her extensive experience as a nurse practitioner. Berhane truly enjoys working and helping patients to maximize their health and wellbeing.

Lauren Ruskell, MSN, FNP-C, RNFA

Lauren earned her bachelor’s degree and Master of Science in Nursing from California State University. She has over 23 years of nursing experience, including 19 years in an acute care setting. Prior to joining the cCARE team in 2019, Lauren worked for Central California Gynecological Oncology, Central Valley Women’s Health, and Advanced Procreative Gynecologic & Reproductive Specialists. Lauren is a surgical first assist with five years of experience with open, robotic and laparoscopic procedures. She concurrently works at St. Agnes Medical Center as a nuclear medicine nurse practitioner. Lauren served as a volunteer medical officer for the Fresno Boy Scout Camp in 2019.

Marissa Tadi, MSN, A-GNP-C

Marissa joined cCARE in May 2017. Prior to joining, she spent seven years working inpatient as a medical/oncology nurse for Christian Hospital in St. Louis, MO. She is currently certified by the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) in chemotherapy and biotherapy. She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Chamberlain College of Nursing in 2010. She earned her Master of Science in nursing from Maryville University in 2016.
