Dr. Aulakh is double board certified in medical oncology and internal medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center and earned fellowships in blood banking and transfusion medicine at the University of California, Davis.
Additionally, he also completed an oncology fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. In 2013 Dr. Aulakh was the top recipient of the Texas Society of Clinical Oncology Fellows award.
Dr. Aulakh chose oncology because of the cutting-edge research and the ability to see positive outcomes in real time. He enjoys being able to save lives and ensure that patients and families spend as much time together as possible without pain and suffering.
Dr. Aulakh’s treatment includes a multidisciplinary approach that integrates evidence-based medicine and research into his clinical practice. He provides as much information as possible to patients about their disease and prognosis. His greatest strength is clear and efficient patient interaction and communication.
In his spare time, Dr. Aulakh enjoys being with his family, traveling and watching movies.
