A board-certified medical oncologist and internist, Dr. Flores earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio School of Medicine, and completed her internal medicine residency at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. She received her fellowship training in hematology/oncology at Scripps Green Hospital.

Prior to joining cCARE, Dr. Flores served as the medical director at the Cancer Institute at Pioneers Hospital and as a research assistant at The Scripps Research Institute.

An avid health enthusiast, Dr. Flores enjoys running half marathons and yoga (Hatha and Bikram); she also enjoys photography, modern art and travel.
