Kathleen Haley, NP
Kathleen is an oncology nurse practitioner at the La Jolla office. Before joining cCARE, she worked as a clinical nurse at Sharp Memorial Hospital in the outpatient infusion therapy center for oncology and hematology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from Northern Arizona University in 1978 and her Master of Science in nursing, with a nurse practitioner certification, from California State University, Dominguez Hills.
Susan Hope Klein, DNP, FNP-C OCN
Susan joined cCARE in 2000 as an oncology certified nurse in the outpatient infusion center in Encinitas and after becoming a nurse practitioner. She moved to the La Jolla office in 2013. She also serves as part-time faculty in the Doctorate of Nursing Practice program at the University of San Diego. Susan earned her bachelor’s in nursing from the Pennsylvania State University and earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree as well as a Master of Science in nursing from the University of San Diego. Susan is a Veteran and served 11 years in the United States Navy.
Cortney Miller, MSN, FNP
Cortney joined cCARE in September of 2016 as a nurse practitioner at the Encinitas office. Before joining the cCARE team, she worked as a travel nurse at University of California, San Diego Moore’s Cancer Infusion Center and Kaiser Permanente Carmel Valley Outpatient Clinic in San Diego. Prior to that, she spent several years as a staff nurse at Saint Louis Children’s Hospital working with pediatric hematology/oncology patients. She also worked at Barnes Jewish Hospital in Saint Louis in adult medical oncology and BMT for two years. Cortney received her Master of Science in nursing as a family nurse practitioner from Saint Louis University.
Lindsay M. Moran, MSN, NP-C
Lindsay joined cCARE’s San Diego location in Spring 2016. She was previously working as a nurse practitioner at a private practice in Arizona. Lindsay earned her Bachelor of Science in psychology at Iowa State University, Bachelor of Science in nursing at Lakeview College of Nursing in Charleston, Illinois, and her Master of Nursing at the University of Missouri. She also completed an oncology fellowship at the Nebraska Medical Center in 2009. Along with a nursing background, Lindsay has also worked as a social worker for the State of Iowa and served as a community health worker for the United States Peace Corps.
Marti Willey, CCRN, MSN, ANP-BC
Marti is an adult nurse practitioner at the Encinitas and 4S Ranch office where she provides physical assessment, differential diagnosis and care plans for oncology and hematology patients. She earned her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in nursing at San Diego State University. Before joining cCARE, Marti worked at Scripps Memorial Hospital as a nurse mentor for the intensive care unit.
Jamila Faiq, RN, MSN, FNP-BC
Jamila is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who joined the cCARE team in November of 2016. Prior to that, Jamila spent six years in the Bone Marrow and Solid Organ Transplant Unit at Scripps Green Hospital in La Jolla, California. At Scripps Green she gained valuable experience administering chemotherapy, conducting stem cell transplants and giving her patients compassionate treatment and follow-up care. Jamila received her Master’s of Science in nursing from California State University San Marcos, where she graduated magna cum laude.
La Jolla Urology nurse practitioner
Stephanie Tomicich, MSN, BSN, RN, AGNP-C
Stephanie is a nurse practitioner at cCARE’s La Jolla Urology office. Before joining cCARE in April 2016, she worked in the cardiac care ICU and Surgical/Trauma ICU at Scripps Memorial Hospital. She also worked as a nurse practitioner for the Rancho Santa Fe Medical Clinic Mobile Doctor and cared for patients at their home from 2015-2016. Stephanie received her Bachelor of Science in nursing at Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, her Master of Nursing at the University of San Diego and her Post Master’s in Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner at the University of Massachusetts in Boston.
Fresno nurse practitioners
Irene Moore, NP
Irene joined cCARE in 2009 after becoming certified by the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) in chemotherapy and biotherapy. Prior to joining cCARE, she worked for ten years as a nurse manager and clinic administrator at EOC Health Services Clinic in Fresno, CA. She completed her education at Fresno City College and became a nurse practitioner in 1993, when she completed the San Francisco School of Nursing OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner Program through Planned Parenthood of Central California in Fresno. Irene also completed the nurse management course at California State University, Fresno.
Jemely Villegas, FNP, MSN
Jemely worked at Cancer Care Associates of Fresno Medical Group since 2001 and continued on as an oncology nurse when the practice merged with cCARE in 2012. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from California State University, Fresno.
