About Dr. Sukhjeet Batth
Dr. Sukhjeet Batth is board certified in radiation oncology. He completed his residency training as chief resident in radiation oncology at the University of Southern California and Los Angeles County Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from the University of California, Davis, where he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He received his Master of Science in bioengineering and Bachelor of Science in biological sciences with University Honors and Distinction at Stanford University.
His research in head and neck, central nervous system and prostate cancers has been published in major scientific journals and presented at international conferences. He serves as an American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) state captain and on the Government Relations Subcommittee to promote the practice of radiation oncology.
Dr. Batth likes being able to spend time getting to know each of his patients personally, valuing the continuity of care he provides them starting from the first consultation, through radiation therapy and in long-term follow-up. Dr. Batth prides himself on answering questions thoroughly, explaining in great detail to patients what to expect and how they will be helped. He approaches every single patient as if he or she were a family member, and he strives to offer conscientious and thorough care from beginning to end.
Dr. Batth is originally from the Fresno area and is dedicated to serving patients in the Central Valley. While not practicing medicine, he enjoys spending time with his family, as well as staying active and spending time in the outdoors. He is fluent in Spanish and Punjabi.
