cCARE Donates $5,575 for Leukemia & Lymphoma Society at Light the Night

Doctors and staff laced up their sneakers and donned glow-in-the-dark garb to walk in support of a cure for blood cancer.

SAN DIEGO, Nov. 9, 2016 – The doctors and staff of California Cancer Associates for Research and Excellence (cCARE) formed a team that took part in the Light the Night fundraiser event on November 5 at PetCo Park in San Diego. Through sponsorships and donations, the team raised funds to benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). cCARE’s team finished among the top 15 donors with $5,575 raised. cCARE delivered a check for $5,000 of those funds directly to LLS ahead of the event.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) is on the forefront of blood cancer research and also provides education, assistance and advocacy services for leukemia and lymphoma patients. cCARE is proud to support and partner with LLS, as both organizations hold a strong commitment to exceptional patient care coupled with groundbreaking cancer research.
