cCARE Unveils Renderings of Forthcoming Saint Agnes State-of-the-Art Cancer Center

California Cancer Associates for Research and Excellence (cCARE) is preparing to break ground on a fully-funded comprehensive treatment facility on the Saint Agnes Medical Center campus.

FRESNO, Apr. 6, 2017 – California Cancer Associates for Research and Excellence (cCARE) just released architectural renderings for their forthcoming 65,000-square-foot outpatient cancer center that will serve the Fresno and Central Valley community. The images offer a preview of the infusion room and the main patient lobby, providing a sense of the project’s scale and patient-focused design.

Ground breaking on this expansive wing on the Saint Agnes Medical Center campus at 7130 N. Millbrook Ave is due to begin in April. cCARE is proud to operate on the grounds of St. Agnes, an established provider of community healthcare and emergency services for over eighty years. The building project is due for completion in early 2018 and is fully financed, requiring no public fundraising or donations.

cCARE’s Chief Executive Officer, Troy Simon, says this facility will support cCARE’s established presence as Fresno’s preeminent cancer care provider, laying the groundwork for continued excellence in care.

“We have 13 medical oncologists as well as two radiation oncologists who have been providing cancer treatment services in the Central Valley for many years,” says Simon. “Now we’re expanding on that by building a single facility that will allow patients to receive all aspects of treatment in one centralized location.”

On-site treatment options for patients will include chemotherapyresearch and clinical trialsradiation therapy, a physician dispensing program for oral oncology drugs, a high-complexity medical lab and two PET (positron emission tomography) machines, a type of advanced cancer imaging equipment.

cCARE is wholly committed to the Central Valley community, and this fully-funded treatment center is an investment in the health and wellbeing of its residents.
