In July of 2014, Stephanie Jackson was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer (TNBC). This particular cancer type is only seen in 10 to 20 percent of breast cancer diagnoses, and it is often very aggressive. Stephanie received treatment from cCARE’s Dr. Robert Lemon, and she published her story because she hopes to educate women about the importance of self-exams and mammograms.
Dr. Bessudo Weighs in on New Breast Cancer Research
A 2007 breast cancer research study published by the World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer suggested that women working nights and disrupting their body’s natural sleep patterns were putting themselves at higher risk for breast cancer. Recent research refutes these claims, and cCARE’s Dr. Alberto Bessudo commented on these findings in an article on the HealthZette website.

cCARE Partners with Saint Agnes to Provide New Cancer Center
cCARE is joining forces with Saint Agnes in Fresno to provide what is expected to be the largest private cancer center in the Central Valley. The project will expand and renovate an existing 31,000-square-foot center into a new 65,000-square-foot facility, and is expected to be finished in a year to 15 months.
